Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles to deliver freight to designated locations on time and in safe condition.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure DOT compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment and lifting techniques.
- Observe all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure a secure delivery process.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any issues.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid US Class A CDL license required.
- Current DOT Medical Card (or willing to obtain).
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience preferred.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no serious violations.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong physical stamina to handle loading and unloading duties.
