Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and delivery vehicles in accordance with all traffic laws and company policies.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper weight distribution and safety protocols are followed.
- Complete all necessary daily and weekly inspections of the vehicle to ensure mechanical safety.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and all required paperwork, including bills of lading.
- Interact professionally with customers, dispatchers, and team members to ensure high-quality service.
- Adhere to strict safety regulations and DOT compliance standards at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Must have a clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations within the last 3-5 years.
- Pass a DOT physical examination and drug screen.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
