Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and trailers safely and efficiently on various routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance.
- Load and unload freight accurately, ensuring cargo security and safety.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and delivery documentation as required by law.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery updates.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B required.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable truck driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong time management skills and ability to work independently.
- Basic understanding of cargo handling and safety protocols.
