Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) in accordance with all DOT regulations and company policies.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently, ensuring proper securing and safety standards are met.
- Maintain accurate logs (EOBR) and complete all required paperwork, including bills of lading and delivery receipts.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify any maintenance needs or safety hazards.
- Navigate delivery routes in North Carolina and Georgia efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and time windows.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and handle any roadside inquiries professionally.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- 21 years of age or older.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
