Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and vans in a timely and professional manner.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using proper safety protocols and lifting equipment.
- Adhere strictly to all DOT regulations, including Hours of Service (HOS) and electronic logging devices (ELD).
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
- Maintain a clean driving record and keep the truck interior and exterior presentable.
- Complete necessary paperwork and documentation accurately.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current DOT Medical Card (Medical Examiner's Certificate).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Basic mechanical skills for minor troubleshooting.
