Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated individuals to transport goods safely and efficiently. You will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, and adhering to all safety regulations set by the Department of Transportation.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) safely and efficiently to deliver freight on time.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment (forklift, pallet jack, or hand truck).
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delays or issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A or B) required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) and DOT Medical Card.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience in the last 3 years.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Willingness to work varied shifts and occasional overtime as needed.
