Responsibilities
- Operate commercial delivery trucks to transport goods to designated locations in Long Beach and surrounding areas.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper handling of all merchandise.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, timesheets, and delivery receipts (E-log compliant).
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies at all times.
- Provide exceptional customer service during drop-offs and pick-ups.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route changes or delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Must have a clean driving record (MVR) and acceptable background check.
- Current DOT Medical Card and Hazmat endorsement (if applicable).
- Minimum of 1 year of professional driving experience preferred.
- Ability to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) and holidays as scheduled.
- Strong understanding of road safety and cargo securement procedures.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing repetitive motions.
