Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A or B vehicles to transport freight safely and efficiently.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, manifests, and delivery status reports.
- Adhere strictly to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company policies.
- Communicate professionally with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and issues.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or B License required (Texas Class A or B).
- Clean driving record with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screen.
- Strong time management skills and ability to navigate routes efficiently.
- Excellent customer service skills and professional communication.
- Basic mechanical knowledge is a plus but not required.
