Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver goods to designated locations in Detroit and surrounding areas.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely, verifying inventory against delivery tickets.
- Maintain accurate logs (DVIR) and manage delivery paperwork efficiently.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and ensure satisfaction with every delivery.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience (preferred).
- Current DOT medical card and DOT drug screen clearance.
- Pass a comprehensive background check and motor vehicle record (MVR) review.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
