Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks (26ft-53ft) for local/regional freight delivery
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance
- Manage delivery schedules and maintain timely service
- Ensure proper cargo securing and documentation compliance
- Build client relationships through professional service
- Optimize routes for fuel efficiency and on-time delivery
- Track expenses and maintain accurate records
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL (or willingness to obtain)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Willingness to complete paid training program (4 weeks)
- Entrepreneurial mindset with business management skills
