Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for local/regional freight deliveries
- Manage all aspects of your independent contracting business
- Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and company policies
- Build client relationships through professional on-time deliveries
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and preventive maintenance
- Optimize routes to maximize efficiency and earnings
- Submit accurate trip documentation and expense reports
- Participate in ongoing training and safety programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years box truck driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in 3 years
- Must own or finance a compliant box truck (specifications provided)
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Basic accounting and record-keeping skills
- Strong customer service and communication abilities
