Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for local/regional freight delivery
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation systems
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain vehicle logs
- Coordinate with dispatch for pickup/delivery schedules
- Ensure cargo security and proper loading/unloading techniques
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations and safety protocols
- Manage customer communications for delivery confirmations
- Maintain clean driving record and compliance documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL license or ability to obtain through our training
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screening
- Basic computer skills for digital logbooks and communication
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
