Responsibilities
- Secure and deliver freight loads safely and efficiently within the Greater New Orleans area and surrounding parishes.
- Inspect the box truck daily to ensure it is in top working condition before and after every shift.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and adhere to all DOT and FMCSA regulations.
- Interact professionally with dispatch and clients to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Keep the truck and cargo area clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid DOT Number and Motor Carrier Number.
- Own and operate a reliable box truck (10' - 26' range).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience in a commercial vehicle.
- Pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Strong communication skills and a professional attitude.
