Responsibilities
- Safely operate a box truck for local and regional freight deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance
- Ensure timely delivery of goods while adhering to DOT regulations
- Communicate effectively with clients and dispatch teams
- Manage inventory and secure cargo during transit
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck driving experience
- Reliable box truck (26ft+) in good mechanical condition
- Proof of commercial insurance and DOT registration
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Basic knowledge of GPS navigation and route planning
