Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for local/regional deliveries in Phoenix metro area
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment (pallet jacks, ramps)
- Maintain detailed delivery logs and paperwork
- Perform DOT-compliant vehicle inspections and basic maintenance
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and safety protocols
- Optimize routes for maximum efficiency
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL (or Class A with box truck endorsement)
- Minimum 2 years box truck experience
- Clean MVR (no major violations in 3 years)
- Proof of commercial insurance ($1M liability)
- Reliable box truck in DOT-compliant condition
- Ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally
- Knowledge of Phoenix-area geography
- Smartphone with data for dispatch apps
