Responsibilities
- Operate box truck safely and efficiently across Nebraska and surrounding regions
- Optimize delivery routes to meet tight deadlines and maximize mileage
- Maintain accurate trip logs, mileage records, and expense documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and coordinate maintenance schedules
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years box truck or commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Reliable box truck (26' or smaller) with current registration
- Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting minor issues
- Strong time management and route planning skills
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs occasionally
- Smartphone with GPS and reliable communication access
