Responsibilities
- Safely operate and maintain your box truck to ensure on-time deliveries
- Manage pickup/delivery logistics using our integrated dispatch system
- Complete required documentation including BOLs and delivery confirmations
- Optimize routes for efficiency while adhering to DOT regulations
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain vehicle records
- Represent Swift Logistics with professionalism during all client interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck driving experience
- Proof of commercial insurance (liability/cargo)
- Reliable late-model box truck (26ft+ preferred)
- Smartphone with data for dispatch communication
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Basic familiarity with electronic logging devices
- Strong time management and customer service skills
