Responsibilities
- Safely operate box truck for local/regional freight delivery
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Manage loading/unloading procedures efficiently
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Optimize routes for on-time performance
- Communicate shipment status with dispatch
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL or equivalent license
- Minimum 2 years box truck experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations
- Reliable insured box truck (26ft max)
- Basic GPS navigation proficiency
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs occasionally
- DOT medical certification current
