Responsibilities
- Safely operate and maintain DOT-compliant box trucks for local/regional deliveries
- Optimize delivery routes using provided dispatch software to meet tight deadlines
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading and delivery confirmation
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic documentation via our mobile portal
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Collaborate with dispatch team to adjust schedules based on real-time traffic
- Uphall all safety protocols and cargo security standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years box truck or straight truck experience
- Proof of commercial liability insurance ($1M minimum)
- Reliable DOT-compliant box truck (26ft+ preferred)
- Smartphone with GPS and data connectivity
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly
- Jersey City residency or immediate relocation capability
- Strong time management and communication skills
