Responsibilities
- Operate your box truck safely and efficiently for local/regional routes within 100-mile radius
- Maintain meticulous delivery records and customer communication via our digital platform
- Ensure cargo security and proper handling of temperature-sensitive freight when required
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain vehicle maintenance logs
- Optimize routes for maximum fuel efficiency and on-time delivery performance
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery exceptions and customer inquiries
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Owned box truck (26' - 32') with current registration and commercial insurance
- Minimum 2 years verifiable box truck or straight truck experience
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs repeatedly for loading/unloading assistance
- Smartphone proficiency for our dispatch and tracking apps
- Pass background check and drug screening (company-paid)
- Knowledge of Stockton/CA warehouse districts and major highways
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
