Responsibilities
- Operate box trucks for local/regional freight delivery within Arizona and surrounding states
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and required documentation (BOLs, manifests)
- Perform daily pre/post-trip inspections and ensure vehicle maintenance compliance
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Manage cargo security and damage prevention protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years box truck or straight truck experience
- DOT medical certification and current driver's license
- Reliable box truck (26ft+), properly insured and maintained
- Strong knowledge of Arizona/Southwest geography
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally
- Smartphone with reliable data for communication
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
