Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for local and regional routes
- Load/unload freight using appropriate equipment
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Optimize routes for on-time delivery
- Communicate with dispatch and clients
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck experience
- Own or lease a DOT-compliant box truck
- Proof of commercial insurance ($1M liability)
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly
- Smartphone with reliable data access
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Strong time management and customer service
