Responsibilities
- Operate box truck for local/regional deliveries with on-time performance
- Manage loading/unloading of freight safely and efficiently
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year box truck experience
- Reliable box truck (2005+ model preferred)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Strong knowledge of NJ/NY metro area
- Commercial insurance coverage ($1M liability)
