Responsibilities
- Safely operate box truck for local/regional deliveries within Nashville metro area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork for all shipments
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning
- Ensure secure loading/unloading of freight
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Box truck or straight truck ownership/lease
- Ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally
- Smartphone with GPS and reliable communication
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor repairs
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Local Nashville area residency preferred
