Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for local and regional deliveries in San Francisco Bay Area
- Manage loading/unloading operations with proper equipment handling
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic tracking systems
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and preventive maintenance
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure on-time performance
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck experience in urban environments
- Proven ability to manage time and meet tight delivery schedules
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor troubleshooting
- Strong navigation skills using GPS and route optimization apps
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly during loading/unloading
- Commercial vehicle insurance (minimum $1M liability)
- Reliable box truck (2015 or newer preferred) in good condition
