Responsibilities
- Operate a 26ft box truck to transport goods safely and efficiently within the region.
- Manage your own schedule while utilizing our remote dispatch portal for load assignments.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance.
- Load and unload cargo with care, ensuring proper securing to prevent damage.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery updates and delays.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and digital records for DOT compliance.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience driving a box truck or similar commercial vehicle.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination and drug screen.
- Must own a reliable, well-maintained 26ft box truck.
- Strong customer service skills and professional communication abilities.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
