Responsibilities
- Safely operate a box truck for local and regional freight deliveries
- Manage route planning and timely delivery of goods across Florida
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Ensure vehicle compliance with DOT regulations and safety standards
- Build client relationships through professional service delivery
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient load assignments
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years box truck driving experience
- DOT medical certificate and clean driving record
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor truck repairs
- Smartphone with reliable internet for app-based dispatch
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Own or lease a DOT-compliant box truck (24-26ft)
