Responsibilities
- Operate 26ft and 53ft box trucks for local and regional deliveries throughout Stockton and surrounding areas.
- Ensure timely and damage-free delivery of freight to designated consignees.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain safety standards.
- Handle loading and unloading of cargo using proper equipment (pallet jacks, etc.).
- Maintain a clean, professional appearance and communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.
- Adhere strictly to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or equivalent commercial vehicle operator's license.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience as a Box Truck Owner Operator.
- A clean driving record and current background check.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to resolve on-site issues professionally.
- Ability to lift and handle packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Reliable communication equipment (cell phone with data plan).
