Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks (24-26ft) for local/regional freight delivery
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation (BOLs, mileage)
- Adhere to strict DOT compliance and safety protocols
- Optimize routes for on-time deliveries while maximizing efficiency
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients
- Manage loading/unloading coordination at facilities
- Uphigh professional standards in customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Current DOT medical certification
- Proven box truck/straight truck experience
- Strong knowledge of Central Valley geography
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Reliable smartphone with GPS navigation
- Commercial insurance coverage ($1M liability)
