Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently on local and regional routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload cargo using proper safety equipment and techniques.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records at all times.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety policies strictly.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B required.
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) valid for at least 90 days.
- Clean driving record with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Basic knowledge of road maps and GPS navigation systems.
