Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles (tractor-trailers) for regional deliveries
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT logs
- Plan efficient routes while adhering to delivery schedules and FMCSA regulations
- Load/unload cargo using forklifts and other material handling equipment
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery and pickup interactions
- Report maintenance issues and ensure vehicle cleanliness
- Participate in ongoing safety training programs
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean MVR (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR or regional driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening (required)
- Knowledge of Washington state highways and delivery zones
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and operate basic warehouse equipment
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
