Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to deliver time-sensitive cargo throughout Florida
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records using our proprietary tracking system
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and ensure vehicle compliance with DOT regulations
- Coordinate with dispatch team to optimize routes and maintain delivery schedules
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Handle specialized freight requiring temperature control or hazardous materials endorsements
- Participate in ongoing safety training and certification programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Familiarity with Florida highway systems and delivery regulations
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
- Pass background check and drug screening requirements
- Flexibility for overnight and weekend shifts as needed
