Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for local and regional deliveries in the Dallas metroplex
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments
- Ensure timely pickups and deliveries while adhering to DOT regulations
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Build strong client relationships through professional communication
- Optimize routes for maximum efficiency and fuel savings
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time load assignments
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of box truck or heavy vehicle operation experience
- Reliable box truck (2005 or newer) with proper insurance coverage
- Strong knowledge of Dallas metro routes and traffic patterns
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
