Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport freight across designated routes
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Plan efficient delivery routes while adhering to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques and equipment operation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients, and warehouse teams
- Document delivery status and resolve minor route discrepancies proactively
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with all federal/state transportation laws
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety compliance procedures
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with Southwest region
- Pass background check and drug screening requirements
- Excellent time management and customer service abilities
- Flexible schedule availability including early mornings and weekends
