Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks (26-28ft) for local/regional freight delivery
- Manage loading/unloading operations with efficient dock protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Optimize routes for on-time performance and fuel efficiency
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time load adjustments
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and preventive maintenance
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years box truck experience
- Clean MVR and satisfactory background check
- Basic mechanical knowledge for roadside troubleshooting
- Smartphone with reliable internet connectivity
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong time management and customer service skills
- Own DOT-compliant box truck (26-28ft)
