Responsibilities
- Secure and transport cargo safely to designated locations in Anaheim and the greater Southern California area.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety standards.
- Handle the loading and unloading of freight efficiently, ensuring cargo integrity is maintained.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and necessary paperwork in strict accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding schedules, delays, and delivery confirmations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company safety protocols, and local regulations at all times.
- Keep the truck clean, presentable, and well-maintained.
Qualifications
- Must be a licensed and insured Box Truck Owner Operator (Class B License with Doubles/Triples endorsement preferred).
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Experience with local delivery routes in the Southern California region is highly desired.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent customer service skills and a professional demeanor.
