Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks (24-26ft) for local/regional freight delivery
- Manage loading/unloading operations with efficient turnaround times
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and route compliance
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic truck maintenance
- Optimize routes using provided logistics software
- Build strong client relationships through professional service
- Adhere to DOT regulations and Alaska-specific transport laws
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years box truck experience
- Proof of commercial liability insurance ($1M+)
- Reliable 24-26ft box truck (2005+ model)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Strong time management and customer service abilities
- Alaska residency preferred
