Responsibilities
- Cargo Management: Safely load, secure, and verify cargo to ensure it arrives at the destination in perfect condition.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure your truck is mechanically sound and compliant.
- Route Navigation: Utilize GPS and mapping tools to plan efficient routes, avoiding traffic and delays to meet delivery windows.
- Customer Interaction: Deliver goods with a professional attitude, maintaining a positive relationship with clients and ensuring a high-quality unloading experience.
- Documentation: Accurately complete delivery receipts, bills of lading, and daily logs to maintain compliance.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all local, state, and federal driving regulations and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Driver's License: Valid commercial driver's license (Class C or CDL) and a clean driving record.
- Experience: Proven experience as an Owner Operator or professional truck driver.
- Equipment: Must own a well-maintained 26ft Box Truck.
- Background Check: Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to read and write in English.
- Time Management: Self-motivated with the ability to manage time effectively to meet tight delivery schedules.
