Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 26ft Box Truck to deliver freight to residential and commercial locations within the Irvine and Greater Los Angeles area.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently, ensuring proper securing and protection of goods.
- Maintain accurate logs and electronic logging device (ELD) records in accordance with hours-of-service regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with clients and resolving delivery issues on-site.
- Manage fueling, maintenance scheduling, and minor repairs to keep operations running smoothly.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL Class B) with a clean driving record.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable experience in Box Truck or Flatbed operations.
- Proven track record of meeting delivery deadlines and maintaining a safety-first mindset.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong communication skills and a professional appearance.
- Access to reliable transportation for non-driving duties (if applicable).
