Responsibilities
- Safely operate and maintain your box truck for regional freight deliveries
- Optimize routes to maximize mileage and minimize deadhead time
- Manage all documentation including bills of lading and logbooks
- Build strong client relationships through professional on-time service
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient load planning
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety standards
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck or straight truck experience
- Reliable late-model box truck (2015+ model preferred)
- Proof of commercial insurance ($1M liability minimum)
- Strong time management and customer service skills
- Ability to pass pre-employment background/drug screening
- Basic knowledge of DOT regulations and logbook software
