Responsibilities
- Operate box trucks (24-26ft) for local and regional freight delivery throughout Washington State
- Maintain DOT compliance with daily inspections and meticulous record-keeping
- Optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and minimize idle time
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time schedule adjustments
- Manage inventory verification and delivery documentation
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance and report mechanical issues promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (3+ years commercial experience)
- Minimum 2 years box truck operation experience
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly
- Smartphone with reliable internet connectivity for dispatch apps
- Basic mechanical knowledge for roadside troubleshooting
- Excellent time management and route optimization skills
- Strong customer communication abilities
- Flexibility for early morning/night deliveries
