Responsibilities
- Transport cargo safely and efficiently from pickup to delivery points within the San Antonio area.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure truck and cargo safety.
- Load and unload freight securely, adhering to weight distribution and safety guidelines.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and digital documentation for compliance.
- Communicate timely updates to dispatch regarding status and any delays.
- Represent the company professionally to all customers and clients.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Must Own Truck: You must have your own box truck (15-26ft) and valid commercial insurance.
- CDL Required: Must possess a valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- No Experience Needed: Previous driving experience is not required; we provide training.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Driver's License: Valid state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Physical Ability: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and handle physical demands of loading/unloading.
- Communication: Must have a smartphone for navigation and communication.
