Responsibilities
- Operate box trucks (10-26 ft) in a safe, defensive driving manner.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Ensure accurate completion of paperwork and electronic logs (ELD).
- Deliver freight on time and maintain professional relationships with customers.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and adhere to DOT regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A or B) with clean driving record.
- Ownership of a 10-26 ft box truck in good mechanical condition.
- Experience with route planning and dispatch management.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam and drug screen.
- Strong customer service skills and reliability.
- Valid insurance and current registration.
