Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks (20ft-26ft) to deliver freight on time and in full.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment (hand truck, straps, etc.).
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Interact professionally with customers, shippers, and receivers.
- Ensure strict compliance with FMCSA, DOT, and company safety policies.
- Manage fuel expenses and report mileage accurately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is preferred but not required for smaller box trucks.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination.
- Own a reliable, well-maintained box truck (We also offer lease-to-own options).
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work weekends or holidays as needed.
