Responsibilities
- Safely operate personal box truck for local and regional deliveries within Miami-Dade and South Florida
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and compliance documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic truck maintenance
- Communicate professionally with clients and resolve delivery issues promptly
- Manage loading/unloading procedures ensuring cargo security
- Utilize GPS technology for real-time tracking and route optimization
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck or similar vehicle operation experience
- Must own/operate DOT-compliant box truck (26,000+ GVWR)
- Proof of commercial auto insurance ($1M liability minimum)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and operate in variable weather conditions
- Smartphone with reliable data plan for dispatch communication
- Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting minor issues
- Miami area residency or established local delivery network
