Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks (24-26ft) for local/regional freight delivery
- Manage route optimization and timely pickups/delivers across Indianapolis
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and customer communication
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and preventive maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch team to ensure efficient load scheduling
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Track expenses and optimize operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Minimum 2 years box truck experience
- Proven safety record and knowledge of DOT regulations
- Reliable 24-26ft box truck in good working condition
- Basic accounting/expense tracking skills
- Strong time management and customer service abilities
- GPS navigation proficiency and smartphone for dispatch apps
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
