Responsibilities
- Operate a 26ft box truck to transport goods safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload freight using proper equipment and techniques.
- Prepare bills of lading and complete delivery paperwork accurately.
- Ensure cargo is secured and protected against damage during transit.
- Maintain a clean and professional vehicle appearance.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record.
- Own a reliable 26ft Box Truck or similar commercial vehicle.
- Current DOT medical card and DOT compliant insurance.
- Proven experience in local delivery driving.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
