Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks (24-26 ft) for local/regional deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Manage loading/unloading operations at client sites
- Uphold strict on-time delivery standards
- Communicate shipment status to stakeholders
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Own/lease DOT-compliant box truck
- Proof of commercial liability insurance ($1M+)
- Experience with local/regional freight
- Strong knowledge of Portland metro area
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Smartphone with reliable data connection
- Drug-free certification (current)
