Responsibilities
- Safely operate company-provided box trucks for local/regional freight deliveries
- Plan efficient routes to meet tight delivery schedules using advanced GPS systems
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logging compliance
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for optimal load planning
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable box truck or straight truck experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Portland metro area and Oregon/Washington routes
- Basic mechanical aptitude for pre/post-trip inspections
- Reliable smartphone with data connectivity
