Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for regional freight delivery within Texas and surrounding states
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for compliance
- Coordinate with dispatch teams to optimize routing and minimize empty miles
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Manage cargo security and ensure proper handling of sensitive materials
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years box truck experience
- Clean MVR and DOT-compliant safety record
- Own or have access to a 24-26ft box truck (2015 or newer)
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Texas highway regulations and route planning
- Proven track record of on-time delivery performance
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
